VSR Dip 711: Radiographic Technique

This course will cover lecturers and more of Practicals on Radiophysics including production of x-ray, x-ray beam restructors, grid, intensifying and fluoroscopic screens, fitters, contrast and sharpness, photographic characteristics of x-ray film, radiation hazards and protection, x-ray film, the cassettes and screens, Dark room, Developer and fixer, film processing, Radiographic faults and their remedy.

VSR Dip 712: Advanced Imaging Techniques:

This course will cover lecturers and practicals on Instrumentation and artifacts associated with other imaging techniques including, ultrasonography C.T. Sean, M.I.R. and Radionucleotide imaging.

VSR Dip 713: Diagnostic Imaging I

This course covers lecture/theory of practical and practical on Interpretation of radiological and ultrasonographic signs of thoracic and abdominal diseases of various species of animals.

VSR Dip 714: Diagnostic Imaging II

This course lecture/theory of practical and practical on Interpretation of radiological and ultrsonographic.Signs of diseases of Neuro and musculoskeletal systems of animals.

VSR Dip 715: Radiographic Anatomy

This course covers lectures/theory of Practical and practical on anatomical location of various organs/part/tissue on radiographs and recognition of normal anatomical demarcation of these organs in various species of animals especially comparison animals and equine.

VSR Dip 716 Basic Sciences of Anaesthesia

This course cover lecture and practical course on application of relevant basic science-anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, biophysics, biochemistry to the subject of veterinary anaesthesia

VSR Dip 717 Anaesthetic Techniques:

This course is a lecture and practical course on anaesthetic apparatus and basic monitoring equipment, pre-anaesthetic asssement and preparation; analgesia, sedation, intravenous anaesthesia, inhalation anaesthesia, patient monitoring, muscle relaxation and artificial ventilation, local anaesthesia, anaesthetic emergencies, cardio-pulmonary resuscitation in various species of animal.

VSR Dip 718 Clinical AnaesthesiaI

This course covers lecture and clinical practice on selection and application of anaesthetics in comparison animals. Anaesthestic management of predictable problems relating to species, breed, ages, diseases and operative procedures.

VSR Dip 719 Clinical Anaethesia II

The course covers lecture and clinical practice one selection and application of anaesthetics in Large animals. Anaesthetic management of predictable problems relating to species, age, size diseases and operative producers.

VSR Dip 720 Small Animal Intensive Care:

This course covers lectures and practicals on principles of intensive care for companion animals suffering from severe trauma and advanced disease before, during and after surgery, assessment and treatment of body fluid disorders, blood transfusion, and maintenance of circulatory, pulmonary hepatic and renal homeostasis in surgical cases.

VSR Dip 721 Large Animal Intensive care

This course covers lectures and practicals on principles of intensive care for large animals suffering from severe trauma and advanced disease before, during and after surgery, assessment and treatment of body fluid disorders, blood transfusion, and maintenance of circulatory, pulmonary, hepatic and renal homeostasi
