1.         Perception and prevalence of rabies in apparently healthy dogs in Oyo State.

The study was to determine the perception of rabies in the Oyo State, Nigeria, and                                to investigate the prevalence of rabies antigen in apparently healthy dogs. (Publication number: 5).

2.      Ameliorative effects of selected natural products on haemoparasite induced cardio-renal dysfunctions.

The study was design to determine the ameliorative effects and the mechanisms of action of some selective plants on cardiovascular diseases induced organ damage. (Publication number: 1).

1.        Investigation into antihypertensive properties of selected natural products on murine models of hypertension.

The study intends to evaluate the antihypertensive and antioxidative properties of some selected medicinal plants commonly used in treating ailments in human and animals. The work started in June, 2016 and it is progressing.

 

2.        Electrocardiographical study of different species of domestic and wild animals in the tropics.

The study was designed to study electrocardiographical patterns of tropical domestic and wild animals in health and disease. This work started in the year 2015.

 

3.        Diagnosis and management of epitheliogenesis imperfecta in a piglet (Sus Scrofa    domesticus) in Ibadan, Nigeria.

The study was a case report on a piglet in the zoological garden, University of Ibadan, Oyo State Nigeria born with epitheliogenesis imperfecta. The work started in January, 2016 and has been sent for publication.

 

4.        Comparative study of intramuscular and intravenous administration of diminazene aceturate in trypanosomiasis in indigenous dogs.

The study was designed to study the comparative effect of diaminazine aceturate (a trypanocide) administered through different routes to Trypanosoma infected dogs and possibility of preventing relapse of infection using specific route. This work started in the year 2015 and the manuscript writing is in progress.

 

5.        Comparative effects of intramuscular and intravenous administration of diminazene       aceturate on blood pressure and lead II electrocardiogram of dogs.

The study was designed to check the comparative effect of diminazene accurate on ECG patterns in the blood pressure using different routes of administration. The work started last year, 2015 and it is being prepared for publication.
