He has concentrated his research activities on Theriogenology-branch of Veterinary Medicine which deals with reproduction, including the physiology and pathology of male and female reproductive systems and the clinical practice of Veterinary Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and Semenology. He has published over 40 articles in various aspect of Veterinary Medicine in both local and international journal. Currently, he is leading other veterinarian to study effects of some plants on the reproductive potential of food and pet animals.
He has served as Assistant Warden of Nnamdi Azikiwe Hall (1999-2003), Sub-Dean (Clinics) Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (2000-2002), Coordinator Veterinary Services (CVs) of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital University of Ibadan (2002-2006) before he was appointed Acting Head of Department on January 19, 2007.
