Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry

You are welcome to the Department of Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry of the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. This department has two units as reflected in its name (Physiology and Biochemistry). The Department has produced Veterinary Doctors in conjunction with other Departments in the Faculty. Some of these graduates come back to the Department for either the MSc or Ph.D degree programmes and they have been employed either by our Department or by other Universities in Nigeria and abroad. Some of our products have also been employed by the pharmaceutical industries, livestock industries or by other medically related institutions. The Department currently has nine academic staff (2 Professors, 2 Readers, 1 Senior Lecturer, and 4 Lecturer I), five technical and two administrative staff.
